Hi, Erica! Great to hear from you! :) I miss everyone, especially since everyone here still insists on calling me Lily. I kind of understand since I look so much like that Kensington girl, and we even have the same handwriting (how strange is that?), but I know who I am, and no one can convince me otherwise. I've been busy, too, taking care of my new charges: the twins (Anthony and Antonia, they are so darling!), Brighton (he thinks he's such a man now, he's starting shaving even though there's no hair!), and little Rose (my sweet angel).
Just yesterday, I was telling them the story about when Peter stole all of Hook's hooks and replaced them with bananas, and then Jonah and Jessica (the older twins) walked in and freaked out. They started yelling at me about confusing the children, and then Anthony, Antonia, and Rose started crying, and it was one huge mess. I'd kind of like to get away for a while. I'd miss the children, but sometimes I think the older Kensingtons (not Mother and Father, but the older children) don't like me very much. They don't like it when I use illusions on the children when we play, and get upset when I call myself Wendy.
Even Brighton considers himself too old now. The other day he stopped me in the hall and said, "Don't you think it's time to stop playing this game now?" When I asked him what he meant, he said, "This Wendy thing, that you're not one of us." I wanted to tell him that I wasn't, but I had the feeling that it would upset him, so I told him it was fun to pretend, especially for the little ones. Then I kissed his cheek and made a quick retreat. I'm not sure he believed me, but he hasn't called me on it yet.
A letter? No, I haven't gotten anything.
Wait. Something came the other day and I thought I saw my other name on it (Lily), but Mother said that it was just a medical thing, and I needn't worry about it. Could that be the letter you're talking about? If it was from the project, or any of you, she'd probably hide it. Her and Father say the project was warped my mind (poor delusional things think I'm still their actual daughter, not a foster daughter of sorts...I think something must have happened to my real parents, because when I tried to phone them, someone else picked up...
So, they don't want me to have anything to do with the project, but I'd love to visit! I'll leave right away. I've got some money stashed away and I can get past age restrictions and whatnot with some clever illusions. (I love my gift!)
Finally! It's about time we busted Alice out of there. Poor dear, stuck in a mental hospital all these years. I'll be stateside as soon as possible. Just let me tell my little ones that I'll be gone for a while. Where should I head for?
